This project in Hope Ranch features a main residence attached with a three-car garage, maids quarters, guest house, pool house and a horse barn with tack room. The site covers over 3 acres of land, gently sloped towards the ocean.
We placed the main house on the highest elevation of the site so the owners could enjoy the best ocean views over their large, undulating property. From the tree-lined driveway entry, one looks across the landscape, past the horse barn, to see a circular turnaround at the base of the house. The landscape was designed to encourage meandering strolls through a meadow with a pond and rivulet.
The owners, originally from the North-East Coast, wanted an estate style reminiscent of their roots. Our design solution was stone-finished main buildings with slate roofs, park-like landscapes and a wood sided horse barn.
