Christopher Manson-Hing, AIA Architect, reimagined this Santa Barbara family home with a more modern aesthetic, which included generous ceiling spaces. A more voluminous feel was accomplished by designing and rebuilding the uphill half of the house with a higher roof line than existed prior, which also stepped the scale of the house in harmony with the general topography of the neighborhood.

Other aspects of this modern residence remodel included a full master suite with dedicated amenities, a family room with a half bath, and a two car garage, all of which now boast high ceilings. The kitchen was also remodeled along with the remaining bedrooms, bath, main entry and entry walkway.
